Would you like to find out about how technology can assist you in your everyday life, at home, in work or while you're out and about?
November 2013 is "Switch on to technology month" and as part of a series of events being organised across the country Action, RNIB and Sight Support Derbyshire have teamed up to give you the chance to find out what technology is available which could best meet your needs.
The day is aimed at both beginners and those with a little more knowledge.
At last years events people told us that they wanted to know about:
- Making sense of mobile phones
- Getting on-line with computers and "tablets", e,g I-pad's, Nexus
- Options for reading with e-books and how to download and use audio books
These are what what we'll look at in three fun and information packed sessions.
A light lunch will be provided.
Places are limited and so early booking is advisable.
