10 young people aged 18-25 years with a visual impairment will get the opportunity to learn to ski indoor on real snow with ‘Disability Snow Sport UK at the Chill Factore. Using specialist equipment and instruction, you'll be well on your way to becoming the next 'Eddie the Eagle'.

Disability Snowsport UK is a nationwide registered charity, based at Chill Factore (and 2010 winner of the Manchester Tourism ‘Access for All’ award which recognises excellence in accommodating the needs of guests with disabilities). They provide adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability, including physical, sensory and learning difficulties. By using adaptive equipment and specialist instruction and support, they are able to cater for even those with very limited mobility, so they’ll have you whizzing down the slope in no time!

Time

12-2pm (First group at 12pm-1pm, followed by a second group at 1pm-2pm)

Cost

£10.00 charge per person which is non-refundable and must be received before your place is confirmed. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis so book early as this will be a popular event!

Transport

Will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly train station to and from Chill Factore.

Please bring a packed lunch.
