Action for Blind People West Midlands would like to invite children and young people who are blind or partially sighted and their family to our Alton Towers water park trip. Boasting hundreds of fantastic interactive water features, from lazy rivers and crazy cannons to the sensational speed of the Master Blaster water rollercoaster, this Caribbean lagoon offers gallons of excitement for kids of all ages.
Transport
The coach will be leaving Birmingham New Street station at 10am on which will take you to the water park which will then depart at 4pm taking you back to Birmingham New Street Station. The coach will be stopping at Stafford train station on both journeys.
Cost
Cost for the event is £10 per person which includes entrance to the water park and also the coach travel there and back, however if you are making your own way there then the cost will be £8. You will need to provide your own lunch or you can purchase food at the water park.
Families from Staffordshire will be funded by Staffs Aiming High for this event.
Health and Safety
The water park operates a strict adult to child regulation to comply with health and safety standards. Please check the table below before making a booking:
- 1 person over the age of 16 : 1 child (4 years and under)
- 1 person over the age of 16 : 2 children (ages 5 - 9 years)
- Children under 10 must be accompanied into the water by a responsible adult (16+).
Parents must be responsible for their child at all times throughout the day and must accompany them in the water and on the rides if required.
