Inspirational effect of role models
Last month I attended an event on disability and employment and another on disability and self-employment. One of the key messages from both events was the need for more disabled role models.
Steph’s background is in the highly competitive fashion industry. She has worked in designing, marketing, buying and sales for companies such as Ted Baker and suppliers to Marks and Spencer. In 2003 she experienced unexpected sight loss which led her to become self employed.
