Blogs

Join Sandi, Toby and Shezan as they share their inspiring stories about their day to day lives. Follow their sight loss journey through the ups and downs of living with a visual impairment.

Sandi Wassmer has retinitis pigmentosa and is a human rights activist pioneering the integration of great design, accessibility, usability and other best practices under the umbrella of Inclusive Design. Toby Davey is registered blind and one of our trustees. His interests include sailing and the arts. Shezan Hirjee was born with glaucoma, is a teacher and writes about his day to day experiences as a partially sighted person.

Kevin Nuttall blogs from the frontline as a welfare rights expert, he knows what is going on and has masses of information about anything you might need to be aware concerning your benefits. We also have many guest bloggers who always provide something to think about. At the moment we have Dave Aldwinckle writing about his experience with changes to the Disability Living Allowance.

This is the place to find events which are happening in your area. We have listings for the Actionnaires activities clubs and other events for children and young people.
