Honour the memory of a loved one

There are many ways to remember a loved one - like leaving a gift in their memory to a cause they would have believed in.

More people are choosing to honour the memory of a loved one at a funeral by making donations to a special charity. As a lasting and more meaningful gift you can decide to donate to Action for Blind People in lieu of flowers, or simply by making your donation and letting us know it is being made in memory.

Your gift will be a more permanent and personal way of remembering, and helping visually impaired people.

As a thank you for your donation we can also plant a special tribute in the name of your loved one in our Forget-Me-Not Memorial garden at the Lauriston hotel, and if you wish you can write a personalised tribute to them in our book of Remembrance. Here their memory will always live on with a named plaque in the rose garden.

If you have any questions, or would like to request Action's leaflet on how to give in memory, including our collection envelopes please contact us on 0207 635 4931 or contact us via the website

Your gift could pay for a home visit to a vulnerable blind or partially sighted person from our Action team, to assess their situation and provide the practical and emotional support they need to put their lives back on track.
