Celebrate with Action!
There’s a new way that you can help Action for Blind People whilst celebrating!
Instead of presents for your birthday, anniversary or wedding, you may like to ask your friends and family to give a gift to Action instead. That way they can give a present that will help transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
How does it work? With a little help from your friends!
If you are planning a celebration, you simply:
1. Let us know when it is and how many people you’re inviting by filling in the form below. If you prefer you can order your cards by calling
020 7635 4919 (9am-5pm Mon-Fri).
2. We’ll send you cards (for free!) to send with your event invitations to your friends, family and party guests to let them know you are Celebrating with Action. They can then choose to make a donation to Action as their gift to you. These gifts will help transform lives.
3. We’ll set up a Celebration Fund in your name and keep you up to date with how much you and your friends have raised. We’ll also send you a list of all your friends and family who have contributed so that you can thank them personally, (if they’d like us to, we will thank them too of course!)

£30 Not having to cope alone
Your gift could pay for a home visit to a vulnerable blind or partially sighted person from our Action team, to assess their situation and provide the practical and emotional support they need to put their lives back on track.
£8 An hour of freedom
Your gift could send a blind or partially sighted child to one of our Actionnaires clubs for an hour! Our Actionnaires clubs allow children to take part in a range of sports and can have a life changing effect on their confidence and self-esteem.
