The Music Advisory Service (MAS) provides support for people with sight difficulties in any aspect of making music. Information and advice is given on music education at all levels, from the earliest signs of interest to advanced studies. MAS also runs musical events for children, sometimes including their families, often in conjunction with musical organisations.

Support 4 Sight

Support 4 Sight is a registered charity which helps 4,000 local partially sighted and blind people in Essex. We provide emotional support, advice and equipment to visually impaired people and their carers, as well as those newly diagnosed with irreparable sight-loss. Our current services include information and assistance with visual aids and equipment, a telephone care-line, a social drop-in session, touch-type computer training and a children's tactile toy library.
