Your money
Our financial inclusion service includes advice and support on welfare rights and finance, including personal budgets as part of self-directed support.
Welfare rights resources
In the year 2009/2010 our welfare rights team helped people claim £5.3 million pounds of benefits to help with independent living and we have a number of resources to support you with your claim.
Our highly experienced team of advisers are knowledgable about all issues relating to social security benefits and other entitlements, together with advice, tips and hints about filling in forms and disputing decisions. We also have information about local services that may be able to complete forms on your behalf and go with you to appeals.
Self-directed support
We encourage blind and partially sighted people to apply for a personal budget as part of the government's self-directed support scheme, and we are available to help with the application process.
