Supported housing

Accommodation with an element of support provided can be found in supported housing, which is designed for people with additional needs which may include a disability.

Action for Blind People offer supported housing in two locations:

Bradbury Oak House

Supported housing run by Action for Blind People in East Dulwich, London.

Swail House

Supported housing run by Action for Blind People in Epsom, Surrey.

 

Help in supported housing can include:

  • Assistance with shopping and running errands.
  • Access to local community organisations.
  • Peer support and befriending.
  • Emotional support, counselling and advice.
  • Help in managing finances and benefit claims.
