Disabled Student Allowance London and South East Assessment Centre

We have a Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) Quality Assurance Group (QAG) registered centre in London. The centre offers assessments and training on special equipment to all students and prospective students who qualify for the DSA, whatever their disability.

DSA assessments

If you are disabled and a student, or applying to study, you may be able to receive a Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA). This is a grant towards the cost of special equipment and other support you need for your course.

When you have successfully applied for a DSA, you will need to arrange to have an assessment, which will identify your study needs.

What happens at the centre?

We assess your needs for the course you're taking, and can train you in using specialist equipment once the funding bodies have permitted you to have it.

We work in partnership with other organisations, so we can carry out an assessment whatever your disability - it doesn't have to be a sight problem.
