16 July 2009

We had the chance to catch up with the Rt Hon.David Blunkett MP at our Action conference in July.

We were able to garner his opinion on a number of subjects including unemployment amongst blind and partially sighted people, equal access to sport for visually impaired children and whether he thought an equal approach to disability (as represented by the equality bill) would push visual impairment further down on the agenda. We also asked him about his political career and what he still wants to achieve. Listen in!
