No Limits for Leeds Children

Blind and partially sighted children from the Leeds area attended Actions for Blind People's ‘have a go’ sports day at John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds.
On Thursday 26 June blind and partially sighted children from across the Leeds area attended a ‘have a go’ sports day at John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds.
The day which was organised by Action for Blind People, in partnership with the RNIB, Education Leeds and Leeds City Council, involved 29 blind and partially sighted children taking part in a range of different sports such as Goalball, Tag Rugby, Jujitsu, Gymnastics and Football.
The sports activities were followed by a presentation evening where the children received medals and certificates and were also treated to a special presentation from Steve Daley, captain of the England partially sighted football team.
