Launch of the UK Vision Strategy
Thank you to all of you who took the time to share your views as part of the UK Vision Strategy consultation which closed on 17 January. Many individuals and organisations took part in the consultation. Your feedback is being used to rewrite the final UK Vision Strategy which will be launched on 18 April 2008.

Who is the conference aimed at?
The conference is aimed at professionals working in charities, health, social care and anyone involved in commissioning or providing services used by blind and partially sighted people. User involvement has been at the heart of the UK Vision Strategy from the start, so service users and people with personal experience of sight loss are encouraged to register for a place at the conference.

What's next?
The UK Vision Strategy launched in April 2008 will form the foundation for change across the UK.
Following the launch, plans will be put in place to achieve the UK Vision Strategy aims and outcomes, so making our vision a reality.
The next steps will be to challenge decision-makers, budget-holders and professionals working in health and every sector that touches the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
