Eye Tests

Posted by Stephen Remington, published on 14-07-2008

We are becoming increasingly concerned about the spiralling cost of an eye test and the likely increase in visual impairment resulting from people being economically excluded from this vital service.

We are delighted that we have been able to secure the support of the Department of Health with the Minister responsible for eye care agreeing to be pictured taking an eye test at her local opticians.

It is only with high profile activity such as this that we can hope to make changes in this area and this is yet further evidence of my belief that we must seek to forge alliances with a variety of organisations and institutions.
