Arundel is well worth a visit, to see the castle and its treasures and to visit the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
Goodwood estate is also close, offering a number of major events each year including Glorious Goodwood the horse racing event and motoring events such as the Festival of Speed and the Revival.
Fontwell race course is a short drive from the Russell Hotel.
