Sayce Review - have your say
The Sayce Review looked at the future of specialist employment support services. The review focused in particular on Remploy - both their core job matching service and their sheltered employment factories, the Residential Training Colleges where the emphasis has been on education, training and the acquisition of independent living skills and Access to Work - the main in-work employment support service. On July 15th the Government launched a consultation on the findings of the Sayce Review and this closes October 2011.
How we are responding
Gareth Brydon, Employment, Skills and Enterprise Manager at Action for Blind People, is collecting responses in a questionnaire. These responses will then be collated and submitted to government as part of the RNIB Group response which is being coordinated by the RNIB Campaigns team.
The questionnaire is taken from the Government's consultation. Please answer as many as you feel are appropriate if you need additional information it is included in the accompanying documents.
Please send responses to firstname.lastname@example.org by 7 October 2011. Please contact Gareth if you would like any assistance filling in the questionnaire.
