Here at Action for Blind People, the future's looking bright. We have recently begun an Association with RNIB which will allow us to help many more blind and partially sighted people - so there couldn't be a better time to join us.

In order to work effectively as a business, it's essential that we continue to grow and develop our staff - making the most of their existing skills, and helping them to build new ones. In this role, you'll take responsibility for making it happen.

Action for Blind People is a hugely ambitious national charity, we provide expert support to blind and partially sighted people. We've now developed a strategic alliance with RNIB, enabling us to expand and develop our service provision.

We are in an exciting period of change and the embedding of Learning and Development will be key to our success and future growth.

A proven Learning and Development specialist, you will need to build credibility within the organisation and have a strong customer focus whilst leading on the development and review of Actions Learning and Development Strategy. Evaluating its impact, you'll support our business strategy at all times, and consistently add value to what we do.

We've already been awarded IiP accreditation - you'll maintain the standards that have enabled us to achieve this, as you analyse individual learning and development needs and design training.
